Message: Zippy, I hope your life is wonderful. I have a pure bred Siberian Husky (no papers) named China AND I have a new "puppy" 7 months old from Animal Control. Her name is Nala and she is the color of the female lion in Lion King! She is still tearing up the yard some, but is already a good watchdog (China cannot hear!) and is so lovable! We've had "mutts" most of our lives and they are super and so smart, I’m sure just like you! We hope to see more of you on your site! Much love to you.

Message: I love your webpage! I have a Corgi named A wee pint O Guinness (he is a little stout!) He also has his CGC and is registered with Therapy Dogs International. Guinness has a great time visiting people in nursing homes and hospitals. He is also a member of a precision drill team with 14 other dogs. He attends obedience school and is working on his CD. His favorite game is called "where's Gordon?" to play this he goes to work with me at a veterinary clinic and plays a big game of hide and seek with one of the doctors. It requires a lot of barking and running around like a crazy dog (or person if you consider Gordon!)Corgi's our wonderful dogs and my goal is to get a champion female and raise them....someday...but until then Guinness is my inseparable pal. Hugs and sloppy kisses from Kim and Guinness

Message: Hi Zippy! We both thoroughly enjoyed your web page and having two Corgi, Corkey Lee who is 7 and Halley who is 2, we can relate to your daily activities. Our girls love to eat, have their bellies rubbed and play tag and wrestle with each other. Their favorite game is to rip the frisbee out of the face of the other and go 2 feet and drop it, just to irritate each other. They are our kids and we love them immensely. They are smart and loveable and too cute for words. They enjoyed barking at Zippy, which made your site truly interactive for all family members! Thanks for introducing us to your friend Daisy. She is precious. We will be checking back often to see what is new. Thanks again for putting smiles on all our faces.

Message: My mother, Sally McMillan ("Corgi grandma" below), sent me a couple of pictures of Zippy and tipped me off to this website. What a treat!! Our Corgi looks VERY similar to Zippy, and you don't often see pictures or other artwork of tri-colored Corgis. I love your artwork of Zippy, and in fact the entire website is a hoot! Please feel free to go to our website and check out our own pictures, you'll see how much they look alike. I can tell by the photos of Zippy that he has all those wonderful classic Corgi traits - curious, intelligent, fun, mischeivous! ;-) I know you treasure all the time you spend with him, as we do with our little guy. He'll be a year old in about 9 days... he'll get raspberry cookies because that's his favorite snack. I could go on...but I won't. Thanks for sharing your wonderful pets on the web, I can't tell you how fun it is to browse your site! My best to you,

Message: hi zippy. what can be said about your site but that its the best site on the internet... you are the coolest dog. well next to me anyway because that is what my mom, dad and sister say about me all the time. i love them just as much. they treat me like im one of the family and not like i just a fixture in the house. they take me every where they go. we go camping and to other peoples houses for the weekend and everything. we do everything together. my mom always cooks for me because i developed a stomach problem, so she has to buy me their kind of food and cook it for me. so to me, that tells me that she really loves me a whole lot. that is just fine with me because i love being loved. my family wants to get another one of my kind, and they keep talking about it but have not done it so far. well zippy, keep all those wonderful things you do coming. i just love seeing the. oh and by the way, so does my family. be cool and see u soon. signed, yogi michelle vargas

From: Tillie
Message: Hi Zippy! my name is Tillie, I’m a fluffy corgi and I’m envious of your CGC award. I took a class at my local pet store and graduated "with honors" because I could do everything on and off my leasch.
I’m a bit of a lazy corgi, I have a jack russell brother so we run pretty hard but my favorite thing is to let mom pet my long, silky hair. If she doesn't pet me for at least an hour I push my cold, wet nose against her arm. I’ve also been known to step on books and magazines in an effort to get more attention.
You know those corgi races? I used to think they were fun with my sister Daffy (also a corgi, but when Daffy died and Marty came to live with us I learned a whole new meaning to corgi races. Sometimes he goes so fast that he jumps over me!!!
But the best thing in the world must be scooby snacks!!! I’ll sit, roll over, stand, bark, yawn, or stretch for a scooby snack. All mom has to do is say scooby and I go nuts!!!! What can I say, I love those scooby snacks!!!
Best of luck to you, glad you like apple pie because I love apples too!!! (Have you ever tried a strawberry? Yummy!!!)

Message: Hey, Zippy! My Mom visted your site a while ago and told me all about you. (She's writing this message for me. I’m busy inspecting all the toe kicks in the kitchen for any tidbits she may have dropped earlier.) We live near Lake Tahoe, so I was glad to hear you'd visited this area. My favorite thing is camping. That's when I get to run totally free and roll in any stinky thing I can find and Mom and Dad give me Dinty Moore Beef Stew out of the can. Have you ever had Dinty Moore Beef Stew? It’s the best!! do you ever go camping? Maybe I’ll see you up here sometime! If you come back, there are some cool restaurants here that let dogs on the patios and give you dog bisquits. I’ve offered to clean up their kitchen floors for them but they didn't take me up on it. Can you imagine? When I clean the dishes for Mom and Dad, they say that they look clean enough to put back on the shelf. In addition to Mom and Dad, I live with a crazy parrot named Bowser. He's nutty and makes a lot of noise, but he's realy OK - whenever Mom and Dad give him a treat, he always drops little bits on the floor for me. Nothing like those noisy Stellars Jays in my yard - they don't share anything! You have a great website, Zippy. I hope we get to see you sometime, but I’ll keep checking in to see how you're doing - Kirby the Corgi

Message: Hi Zippy! I’ll bet you can roll your eyes just like Bonnie when someone asks "Who owns this dog?" I mean, it’s her apartment--she just keeps me around to work the remote and open the door when she wants out or in, and it’s her car-- she only needs a chauffer to keep the cops off her tail! (so to speak) "Garvin's Candygram Bon-Bon", or Bonnie as she is known to her fans, could be your twin sister. Bonnie is a tri-color Pembroke who will turn twelve on January 18, 2000. She picked me rather than continuing to play with her brothers and sisters in the last snow of 1988 and we've rarely been seperated since then. In 1989, out of a group of thirty assorted dogs and breeds, she was the only one to win her PWCCA Herding Instinct Certification on the first try. She herded just like that Corgi in Disney's "Little Dog Lost" from his Wonderful World in 1963 which was the first Corgi I ever saw and I’ve never been far from one since. I’ll bet they only had to point the camera and she did the rest, after all, they really can read minds, how else could Bonnie, walking ten feet ahead, turn in the direction that I’m going to turn, before I do? Like Tasha Tudor has said;"You have only to see a Corgi by moonlight to realize that they are enchanted souls". Actually, burrowing through and leaping over snowbanks in the moonlight is really the best, though. We'll write more later, but for now, take good care of your people, Zippy!
